Let Hope Shine
The Northern Star campaign, in partnership with UNI Financial Cooperation, presented by the nine hospital foundations of Northern New Brunswick, is back for a 5th edition in the Edmundston Regional Hospital, from November 13th to December 31st.
This initiative embodies the strength of our communities coming together to shine together, to support a common goal: improving our health care in our area. It is a guiding star that lights our path to a healthier, more united and more prosperous future.
Our goal: to ensure that every individual, every family, every child has access to the health care they need. Every contribution counts. Together, we have already completed several concrete projects. This year, your generosity will help fund the furnishing of the patients' lounge at the Edmundston Addiction Treatment Centre, a modern place where they can find comfort during their healing journey.
Join the cause, make a donation, and together, let's continue for health care at home first.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Purchase an outdoor Christmas tree on the Edmundston Regional Hospital website. For $200, dedicate a tree in memory or in honor of a loved one, a significant person or to recognize the exceptional efforts of your work team.
Your dedication will be represented by a ornament hanging from your tree, which you can decorate as you wish (using plastic decorations only), and as a thank you, you will be offered a commemorative ornament from the Northern Star campaign to place in your Christmas tree at home.
The outdoor Christmas tree site will be illuminated starting at the end of November, creating a festive and comforting space for patients and healthcare workers. You are also invited to the Illumination ceremony which will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 , at 6 p.m..
Reserve your tree before Friday, November 15, 2024. Hurry! Quantities are limited! And don't forget to confirm your presence and that of your loved ones during the Christmas tree lighting.
New way to highlight someone
Dedicate a tree bearing the image of the Northern Star that will shine at the entrance of some departments inside the Edmundston Regional Hospital. For $100, highlight the exceptional care you have received, thank the healthcare professionals who have helped you, honor a loved one who has received or is receiving care in one of the departments within our hospital, or simply bring a smile and a little light to the staff, patients and families who visit the Edmundston Regional Hospital.
